Redevelopment of vacant day centre to create nine family homes.
NTA Planning was appointed to assist with the redevelopment of the Deptford Centre, a vacant day centre, previously operated by a charity. Whilst they had vacated the property, previous consultants had failed to secure planning permission due to restrictive policy issues.
NTA Planning developed a permitted development strategy to first unlock the principle of residential development on site. From there, a planning application for complete redevelopment was submitted for a scheme of nine family sized dwellings was proposed, all located around a new communal square. Despite a lack of formal pre-application, planning permission was granted with no amendments suggested by Lewisham on the first submission.
Works are currently underway and will complete in late 2025/early 2026.
