Braemar Avenue Baptist Church, Haringey

Redevelopment of defunct church hall to provide modern replacement hall and 15 self-contained flats

This development seeks to replace a defunct the church hall, to meet the operational requirements of the existing church use and the present and future needs of the local community. The development also introduces a high-quality residential development which responds appropriately to the local context and was supported by the Haringey Quality Review Panel.

The development would provide 15 residential dwellings, contributing towards much needed housing stock in the borough.

The development also secured much needed works to the Grade II listed church host, greatly improving and enhancing the character of the church as a focal building within the conservation area.

Design by Spacelab Architects.
