Construction of junior school block, creating modern classrooms, hall, studios and library
As part of the Dept for Education’s Priority School Building Programme 2, NT+A secured planning permission for the demolition of an outdated and failing school building and construction of a single storey replacement teaching block, consisting of a large hall, studio, library and six classrooms. Due to significant time pressures, a swift planning application process was key for this project.
Planning permission was granted in January 2018 and the development was completed and handed over in October 2018.
