New Build Two-Form-Entry Primary School on brownfield site in London
NTA Planning were instructed to be the lead planning consultant for the delivery of a new primary school on a brownfield site in South-west London. This project was delivered under the DfE Offsite Framework in partnership with Spatial Initiative.
This project required significant level of problem solving in order for planning permission to be granted. These included (but were not limited to) flood risk, design/scale, urban greening, tree loss/replacement, highways and sustainability.
After 12 months of negations with the LPA, councillors and the public, the application was unanimously voted to be approved in February 2022. Construction works are due to commence later this year. Utilising modular construction methods, the construction programme will take just 12 months to deliver.
The resulting scheme will be a fantastic and much needed addition to the area. This development was another product of a successful partnership with Spatial Initiative and AHR Architects.
